Films to watch December 09/January 10

Must-see films this December and January - Avatar and Sherlock Holmes, directed by James Cameron and Guy Ritche respectively, are sure to keep you in your seats!

After pausing in November to remember the troops that have died in combat for our country, Film4 ran a war season, playing some of the greatest war films ever made. I have subsequently drawn up a list of my top 5 War films, which I will review throughout December. They are as follows:

1. Saving Private Ryan

4. Enemy at the Gates

5. Atonement

With the Sport’s Personality of the Year award looming, all of the last ten contenders eagerly wait to see if they will be crowned S.P. of the Year. With the shortlist unveiled, lets see who the candidates are and what they have done to deserve the award:
