A friend of mine who is engaged in the British film industry, had a great experience in the Cannes Film Festivals. We have all seen the glamourous side of the Cannes Film Festival, but she informed me of the real purpose of CFF-to meet different business associates for the preparation and promotion of a film.

What a mouthful! The aptly named Icelandic volcano – which I’m sure many of you have heard about – is still causing problems to many of the air services across Europe. Many of the Scandinavian flights have been grounded and some Scottish and Northern Irish planes are being cancelled. Tags: Academics
